Are Minecraft authentication servers down?

Our checks hit public HTTPS endpoints that are part of the modern Minecraft stack (for example Minecraft Services and session hosts) plus legacy Mojang URLs still seen in tooling. A clean bill of health here does not replace checking your own Microsoft account security alerts, VPN, DNS, or school/work firewall rules.
Is Minecraft down for everyone?
Rarely is every single public server offline at once—what feels like “the whole game is down” is often a regional outage, DNS issue, or account problem. If our authentication and launcher rows are green but only one friend's server fails, the problem is probably that host or your route to it—not global Minecraft infrastructure.
Are multiplayer Minecraft servers down?
