How does the size of each server name work?

Server names are scaled by their current online player count. A server with 1,000+ active players will appear in large, bold text, while smaller community servers with fewer players appear smaller. This lets you gauge server popularity at a glance.

How often does the Server Cloud update?

The cloud refreshes every 60 seconds, pulling a fresh random sample of currently online servers. Player counts and server statuses are checked frequently throughout the day, so the data you see reflects real activity.

Why do some server names appear in gold?

Gold names belong to premium featured servers — server owners who support the community by advertising on Minecraftserver.buzz. Premium servers get increased visibility across the site, including a gold glow in the Server Cloud.

How many servers are shown in the cloud?

The cloud displays up to 600 randomly selected online servers at a time, drawn from our entire database of approved servers. This gives you a broad, ever-changing snapshot of the Minecraft multiplayer ecosystem.

How do I add my Minecraft server to the cloud?

Submit your server through our free listing form (click "Add Server" in the navigation). Once approved, your server will automatically appear in the Server Cloud whenever it is online, sized according to your current player count.

Can I filter the cloud by gamemode or version?

The Server Cloud shows a broad mix of all server types. If you want to browse by gamemode (e.g. SkyBlock, Factions, SMP) or Minecraft version, use the main server list on our homepage where full filtering is available.

Why does my server not appear in the cloud?

Only approved, currently online servers appear in the cloud. Make sure your server is submitted and approved, that the IP is reachable, and that our monitoring system has checked it online recently. Offline servers are hidden until they come back up.
