RivalsMC — Server Overview RivalsMC is designed to give players multiple ways to play. Whether you enjoy collecting Pokémon, battling, building, exploring, trading, completing challenges, or playing with friends, there is always something to work toward. Pokémon & Competitive Gameplay Players can catch, train, breed, trade, and battle Pokémon while building their ideal teams. RivalsMC features a progression-based competitive system, with 8 planned Gym challenges, an Elite Four, Battle Tower, and additional PvE and PvP content. Gyms will feature increasingly difficult battles designed to provide an actual challenge rather than simply functioning as standard NPC encounters. Competitive players can also participate in player battles, tournaments, and other future events. Guilds The Guild system gives players a way to form communities and progress together. Guilds can complete missions, earn rewards, unlock benefits, and compete with other groups. Guild progression can provide bonuses such as EXP boosts and Shiny-related bonuses, giving players additional reasons to work together. Collection & Shiny Hunting Collecting Pokémon is a major part of RivalsMC. Players can hunt for rare Pokémon, complete their collections, and work toward completing the Shiny Dex. Shiny hunting is supported by dedicated rewards and progression systems. Players can also obtain special items such as Shiny Chance Eggs, Shiny Legendary Eggs, HA and IV vouchers, and other valuable rewards. Activities & Content RivalsMC includes a variety of activities designed to give players alternatives to normal grinding: PokeHunt — hunt for specific Pokémon for rewards. Bingo — complete randomized objectives and challenges. Questlines — structured objectives encouraging exploration and progression. Battle Tower — progressively difficult Pokémon battles. Dungeons — additional PvE challenges. Raid Portals — group-based encounters and rewards. GTS — buy, sell, and trade Pokémon with other players. Battle Pass — rotating seasonal objectives and rewards. Events — limited-time activities and special rewards. Custom Content RivalsMC goes beyond a standard Pixelmon experience with custom systems, items, textures, and Pokémon content. The server will launch with 12 custom fusion Pokémon, alongside custom textures and other original features designed specifically for RivalsMC. Additional custom Pokémon, mechanics, events, and progression systems will be introduced through future updates. Economy RivalsMC features a player-driven economy where players can earn and spend currency through gameplay. Trading, the GTS, special items, vouchers, eggs, and the PokéWorkshop all contribute to the server's economy and progression. The goal is to make valuable Pokémon and items meaningful while encouraging interaction and trading between players. SMP & Exploration RivalsMC maintains the freedom of a traditional Minecraft SMP. Players can build bases, explore the generated world, gather resources, travel with friends, and create their own communities while progressing through Pixelmon content. Rather than forcing players through a single linear storyline, RivalsMC allows players to choose how they want to experience the server. Future Updates RivalsMC is designed to be an evolving server. Major upcoming systems include Gyms and Invasions, which will be introduced after launch once they have been properly tested, balanced, and developed.
